Dr. Biraj Shah grew up in Orange County, California.
He has a bachelors of Science in in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California in Sand Diego. He received both his Medical and Dental degrees from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and School of Dentistry respectively. Dr. Shah completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical training at the Prestigious University of Maryland Medical Center / R. Adams Crowley Shock Trauma Center, which is recognized as a center of excellence in the specialty.
Area of Clinical Interest
Dr. Shah’s clinical and research interests include treatment of patients with dentofacial deformities, utilizing state of the art technology and 3D virtual surgical planning. Dr. Shah is also involved in the treatment of cancer patients requiring dental extractions, pre-prosthetic surgery or placement of dental implants. Dr. Shah treats a variety of benign tumors and is involved in the reconstruction of these patients
